The Voluntears

Zetland Stage Fri 8:45pm

The Voluntears are a five-piece indie-rock band from the North East of England. Formed in 2015, the band have created a growing reputation as an exciting and powerful live act, with songs echoing the gritty yet wry outlook of everyday life. The band has shared a stage with acts ranging from The Jacksons and Adam Ant, Razorlight, Ocean Colour Scene, Space, James, Embrace, Pete Doherty, Cast, White Lies, The Buzzcocks, P/I/L and The Sherlocks.

Having played some of the North's top venues and shows including sell-outs at the Newcastle O2 Academy, The Cluny and The Independent, along with playing the main stage at Hardwick Live Festival three years running and the main stage at Live at Times Square, the band are now spreading their wings further afield.

The band also featured on the film soundtrack, for British indie-gangster film 'Mob Handed'.

The Voluntears look set to really shine in 2018 with more releases and more dates up and down the UK.
